Recently, I got the chance to check out a quite fasctinating "british"sport. I have never seen something like that before (at least not on the continent). The sport is called Bicycle Polo or Bike Polo and is similar to traditional polo, except that bikes are used instead of horses. You can play it on hardcourt fields, on tennis courts,... wherever there is enough space.
Generally, every team consists of 3 players. A game is either played up to a certain time limit or one team can win by scoring 5 points. As a ball they use a street hockey ball.
If you get the chance to watch a Bike Polo game, go for it! Loved it...
